High-Precision CNC Milling

Milling is a subtractive CNC machining process we use to cut and drill various materials. Milling machines use a cylindrical rotating tool called a milling cutter, a device that is very much like a drill but can vary significantly in size.

Perhaps the most significant difference between a milling machine and a drill is its ability to cut at different angles and along multiple axes in three-dimensional space. Depending on how many movement axes the machine has, it is capable of doing some very complicated things.

Our CNC milling machines are capable of up to five-axis machining, delivering precision to +/-0.0002 inches on critical features. A five-axis CNC milling machine is considered to be among the most versatile. It allows us to shape very intricate parts and components, such as aerospace and auto parts, scale models, medical devices, and much more.

Our machines can manufacture parts and components up to 62 x 30 x 16 inches in size.

CNC process

CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. Simply put, it is highly specialized code that delivers instructions to our machines to tell them how to transform a CAD design into a tangible item. It’s a robotic process and does not require manual input, instead, relying on the software to translate the code into Cartesian coordinates.

The results are incredibly precise, reliable, and infinitely repeatable.
